PRESS RELEASE

20 young people from the project RĂMÂI – La școlă pentru comunitatea noastră have developed four projects for the communities from which they come

Mobile Cinema, Cycling Route and Community Sanitation are project ideas that the 20 young people have developed together with four representatives from the city halls, during the training workshop for 20 young people in writing and project management and for 4 representatives of the city halls from Anina and Bozovici inside the intercultural understanding and respect for diversity, held from august 21 to 28, 2016, in Timisoara.

Sunday, August 28, 2016, the project’s team RĂMÂI – La școală pentru comunitatea noastră “took possession of” the MindsHub space, during the West University of Timisoara, for the presentation of the four projects written by young people from Anina and Bozovici communities.

In front of the hosts and reviewers, the 20 young people, together with their mentors from the city halls, presented “Clean Anina, Rich Anina!”, “Cycling Route in Anina’s Mountains”, “A cleaner future” and “The film returns to Almăj”, projects dedicated to the communities where they come from and where they go to school or work.

Next, the participants will take the necessary steps to implement the projects they developed with the support from the local city halls and from the project’s team, also from the Caras-Severin County School Inspectorate.

The activity was held as part of the project La școală, pentru comunitatea noastră! – Additional activities by PLUS, funded with financial support of the Program RO10 – CORAI, program funded by 2009-2014 EEA Grants and managed by the Romanian Social Development Fund, implemented by the Caras-Severin County School Inspectorate (http://www.isjcs.ro/) and ActiveWatch Association (www.activewatch.ro).

MindsHub is the first educational hub in Romania, a nonconformist space, innovative, based on the collaboration between companies and the academic environment, enabling development opportunities and projects between students, employers, teachers and NGOs. (www.mindshub.ro)
