La școală, pentru comunitatea noastră!
During this period, Caras-Severin County School Inspectorate, in partnership with ActiveWatch are implementing the project La școală, pentru comunitatea noastră!, in two schools in the county: High School “Mathias Hammer” from Anina and High School “Eftimie Murgu” from Bozovici.
In the week July 6-10, at Anina and Bozovici, the teachers involved in the project participate in trainings in order to apply methods to make school materials more attractive and meaningful to each student and to learn interpersonal skills.
Rămâi is the impulse of the project school La școală, pentru comunitatea noastră!, which is addressed to young people in the localities Anina and Bozovici, in order to increase school attendance and opportunities for access to their labor market. The project is an integrated approach to sustainable development of the two localities, involving at the same time, teachers, parents and local authorities.
Project’s La școală, pentru comunitatea noastră! opening conference, was held Thursday, July 30 2015, at Casa de Cultură from Bozovici.
The event was attended by students, teachers, parents and authorities in Anina and Bozovici, the two cities where the project is implemented.
The project aims to build on students’ interests in the touristic, sports and cultural potential of the two towns and to establish two clubs where young people can develop skills useful in the labor market and which are related to the touristic promotion of their towns, and also, getting them closer to the school (by conditioning clubs access, on a good school attendance).
In this regard, students will be trained on real ways and possibilities of involvement of community members in the life settlements they belong, as well as in areas such as communication, events and entrepreneurship.
Parents in the towns and also those living abroad will be subject to an information and awareness campaign on the need for good school attendance of their children and control methods for thier attendance.
The project La școală, pentru comunitatea noastră! is implemented by Caras-Severin County School Inspectorate, in partnership with Active Watch, between February 2015 and April 2016 and is funded with financial support of the RO10-CORAI Program, program funded by 2009-2014 EEA grants and managed by the Romanian Social Development Fund.
